Marion researches movement as a choreographer, dance researcher and teacher. After training as a choreographer at the Abbaye de Royaumont in 2015-2016, she starts her research at the Théâtre du Vivat (Armentières) as part of the Drac Hauts-de-France’s “Pas-à-pas” program in 2016-2017. In 2017-2018, she obtains the guidance of Happynest, a platform that supports artistic emergence under the direction of the theater collective Superamas. After obtaining a master’s degree in dance at the University of Paris 8, she follows the doctoral training in Tanzwissenschaft at the Freie Universität of Berlin in 2010-2011. At the same time, she performs in various projects with visual artist Liaam Iman.
In 2011, she starts teaching at the dance department of the University of Lille. In 2017, she completes her thesis entitled Critiques de danse et danses critiques dans la France des années 30 (Critique of dance and critical dances in 1930s France) under the co-direction of Anne Boissière and Isabelle Launay.
She works with other choreographers as a performer (Lara Barsacq, Thibaud Le Maguer, Liaam Iman, Gabriel Beck...) and as a project consultant (Danya Hammoud). With sound artist Anne Lepère, she invents performances and workshops around stories that cross mythologies and cooking recipes.
