Méduses is the reflection of an ageing and fighting body. That body is in the dark and its only memory is his own picture. That body moves constantly to exist, but his movements also create haunting creatures, animal forces. On the screen, there are flashes of mental projections, the reflexion of the performers race. The body reacts to ephemeral images, trying to get a grip on the memories of dreams.
Méduses is a follow-up to previous work Human Brush; it was created in residency in Ultima Vez’s studios and with the support of Wim Vandekeybus.
